Heroes: A Massive Time-Suck

Horrible, guilty secret: Bob, Andy and I have wasted, over this holiday weekend, an inordinate amount of time watching Heroes. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, we watched the DVD of the first season. Today, we watched seven of the first 11 episodes of the second season (all of which we had Tivo’ed in anticipation of just such a lost weekend). It was a big, continuous orgy of TV! We were potatoes-of-the-couch, slovenliness personified.

Worst of all–worst than the squandered hours–is the fact that the writer’s strike will keep us from sating our new addiction, as they’ve run out of episodes mid-season, and no new ones are forthcoming.

Damn! Damn you, addictive popcorn TV!!!
